SITE SURVEY

This course introduces learners to the basic principles and procedures of conducting a preliminary site survey for construction and engineering projects. Students will learn how to plan and carry out site investigations, collect and manage survey data, and use essential surveying tools and equipment. The course also covers interpretation of working drawings, assessment of site conditions, establishment of original ground levels and reference points, and preparation of preliminary survey reports. By the end of the course, learners will be able to gather and present accurate site information to support effective project planning and design.
